Jay Weintraub Named to Datalot Board of Directors

Founder and CEO of LeadsCon joins board of rapidly growing company that is transforming the way online consumers connect with advertisers and service providers

Brooklyn, NY – August 7, 2013 – Datalot, an innovator of customer acquisition technology, today announced that Jay Weintraub, founder and CEO of the LeadsCon conference series, has joined its Board of Directors.  Weintraub, who is a recognized expert and thought leader on online customer acquistion, will help guide the fast growing company, which has developed a transformative technology platform that is revolutionizing the way online consumers connect with advertisers and service providers. Founded in 2009, Datalot has quickly become an important part of the marketing technology landscape.

Weintraub founded LeadsCon in 2008 and developed it into the largest gathering of vertical media and marketing professionals, with 5,000 individuals attending each year. In 2012, he sold LeadsCon to Access Intelligence, owners of a diversified portfolio of b2b media properties. Prior to founding LeadsConference, Weintraub was part of the founding management team of Los Angeles-based Oversee.net, a domain name advertising network that grew to more than $200mm/year with no outside funding. He also spent two and a half years at Advertising.com, helping create the company’s first product monetizing undersold inventory. A recognized thought leader on online customer acquisition, Weintraub has invested and/or advised dozens of companies. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
