    Scamville Controversy: Links Review

by Chris Trayhorn, Publisher of mThink Blue Book, November 12, 2009

    • Time takes an interest with a post called, “Are You Getting Scammed By Facebook Games?”

    • Newsweek takes a look as well: “Is Facebook A Paradise For Scammers?”
    • Facebook uses its developers blog to put games developers on warning: Our policies are clear. If you’re an ad network and don’t comply with them, you are doing a disservice to your customers, and you should expect your business opportunities on Facebook to cease.
    • Mark Pincus, Zynga CEO, throws Tatto Media under the bus and says he agrees with Michael Arrington: “He raises good points about ‘scammy’ advertisers and the bad user experience they create. I agree with him and others that some of these offers misrepresent and hurt our industry.”
    • Mark Pincus caught on tape saying he had done horrible things.
