The 2007 LinkShare Symposium and Golden Link Awards are all wrapped up. After a two day whirlwind of conference networking and festivities I’m getting back to you while before I depart NYC and head back home to the SF. The event was first class in every sense and everyone here at Revenue was honored to be nominated for the Performance Marketing Most Vocal Advocate award. I cannot say enough praises about the tireless commitment and passion that our leader and Editor-in-Chief, Lisa Picarille and her team of writers and designers put into developing the content of the magazine. It was wonderful to see their hard work recognized by the industry in a category that is completely aligned with the mission of Revenue.

Congratulations to AffiliateFairPlay.com for winning the award and to Eric Ewe from Wyndham Vacations who was also nominated in this category. It was also great to see so many of our advertising partners who were also acknowledged for their achievements and innovations including: AmericanExpress and TigerDirect were honored for Best Online Merchandising Campaign).

TigerDirect won again with it’s Affiliate’s Choice Award. They were the big winner of the night taking home a pair of Golden Links – congratulations Gus Brito! Big props to GSI Commerce and Fabu.com winners of Best Integrated Online-Offline Marketing campaign.

In addition, there are many other Revenue advertising partners that were nominated: Direct Marketing Services -Wards.com – (Best New Merchant); Walmart.com (Best Performance-Based Search Strategy and Best Integrated Online-Offline Marketing); American Express (Affiliate’s Choice Award); and Overstock.com (Affiliate’s Choice Award and Best Overall Online Distribution Strategy). Congratulations to all the LinkShare merchants, affiliates and partners who were recognized for their fine work.
