Blue Ribbon Panel MembersThe Blue Ribbon Panel members provide an informed insider’s perspective on the performance marketing network marketplace, together with guidance and input on interpretation of the research results for the BLUE BOOK Top 20 rankings. The are the result of over 5,000 publishers and advertisers being individually surveyed with some 500 networks included in the evaluation process.The members of the Blue-Ribbon Panel were carefully selected to provide insights from a broad cross-section of the performance marketing industry. There is much that goes on in the ad networks world that advertisers and publishers may not be privy to. That’s where the expert panel comes in as just a part of our extensive process. In many cases the panel members have the inside scoop on intangible factors like reputation, and are able to guide us in knowing what to look for. Votes for their own networks are discounted, of course, and they represent only a small proportion of the final scoring.

The procedure was designed to ensure that no competitive advantage was derived by networks that might have a representative on the Blue-Ribbon Panel. So far as was possible, we tried to come up with a system that fairly reflects the aggregate views of a very varied industry.

He has founded four successful marketing companies in London and San Francisco in the last 15 years, and is currently the founder and publisher of Revenue+Performance magazine, the magazine of the performance marketing industry since 2002.

Before Matomy, he held senior management and sales roles at Relevance-X, the online behavioral and life-stage targeting division of Acxiom, and digital advertising agency SilverCarrot.

Erin Cigich, Clickbooth

Linda and her teams have managed affiliate programs for hundreds of brands including eBay, Motorcycle Superstore, 21st Century Insurance, Quicken Loans, and Wynn Las Vegas.

Melissa Feemster, Rakuten LinkShare

She focuses on client retention, account optimization and new business opportunities. Melissa has grown up through the client services organization at Rakuten Affiliate Network, having joined the Chicago office in 2004. Prior to that time, she worked in account management at Ogilvy, in brand management at the Campbell Soup Company, and in corporate communications at McDonald’s Corporation. Melissa holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a BA from DePauw University.
