Google Introduces Ad Manager Consultants by Chris Trayhorn, Publisher of mThink Blue Book, March 16, 2009 Google Ad Manager has recently passed its one-year anniversary and to celebrate Google has announced the launch of an Ad Manager Consultant program. This new initiative is designed to provide trusted advisors to anyone needing help with ad trafficking, campaign management and optimization, inventory, training and troubleshooting. The basic idea behind all this is to allow publishers to focus on creating content, while the Ad Manager Consultant manages and optimizes everything else. Google has set up a certification program through which it appears that just four companies have progressed: Acceleration; EpikOne; OAO and Vanguardistas. Presumably Google will be looking for other organizations to join and this initiative, with others, may grow over time into an entire Google support ecosystem.
