Back from SES by Tobias Siegel, February 17, 2009 Everyone here at Revenue is catching their breath after finishing a week of production, which requires long hours and perseverance. So how do I unwind for that brief moment of bliss that comes when one task is completed and another one is about to begin? Well, earlier this week I decided to head down to the Search Engine Strategies conference in San Jose. The show had a good turnout and I spent most of my time meeting with advertisers and checking out the latest greatest products in search engine marketing, search engine optimization, website advertising, pay per click management, search analytics and e-commerce solutions. As usual Google continues to flex its search engine muscle. And with SES happening in its backyard, the search engine giant held its 6th annual Google Dance for all its employees and conference attendees. It was an evening of food, fun, music and dancing on the infamous Googleplexworld headquarters in Mountain View. It was my first time on Google’s campus and if you like beach volleyball, video karaoke, billiards, video games, music, dancing and the world famous cafeteria with gourmet food (all you can eat and free for all) then this place is for you. It was like college, summer camp and the carnival all wrapped up as a place to work. Speaking of work, it’s time for me to get back to it. Upcoming advertising opportunities include the September Newsletter, which has a couple banner ad placements available. The banner ad creative deadline is Thursday, August 30. The September Newsletter will launch on Wednesday, September 5. If you are looking to roll out new offers for the holidays or starting to plan your 2008 marketing initiatives, please contact our advertising team to learn more about ad placement availability in the November/December 2007 and the January/February2008. Stay tuned as we wind down the final week of summer and get ready to roll for fall and the upcoming holiday season. Filed under: Revenue
