Fists of Cash Be Gone by Tobias Siegel, February 17, 2009 After you have time to fully digest the July/August 2007 edition of Revenue, which hits the streets this week, I would like to spend some time here on the Full Page Spread blog talking about how to create a compelling advertisement for Revenue. I encourage you to share your thoughts about what catches your eye. Let me kick off the discussion with a few words about the new ad campaign by DoubleClick Performics. It has a great balance between graphics and copy. I think the ad invites you in to read more and get the full message. The graphics bring to mind the matrix. In case you haven’t noticed the company recently changed its brand color scheme from orange to green. If you made it to the Affiliate Summit Miami you probably picked up one of the Celtic green “I Love Affiliate Marketing” beach towels Performics was giving away at their booth. I would also say the TaxBrain racing team 2007 ads are very effective with memorable graphics, color balance and a consistent message. Quality and consistency from Todd, Thomas and the TaxBrain ad design team.We even have a new ad from Commission Junction with another play on the color green. Ad placements in the September/October issue are filling up fast, so please contact our advertising team before ad-closing deadline on August 3 to confirm availability. Bonus distribution will include events such as CJU; Ad:Tech New York and London; Affiliate Summit London and DMA Chicago. If you are fortunate enough to be in San Francisco week this week the Social Networking Conference is taking place on July 26-27 at the Courtyard Marriott. Filed under: Revenue
