Watts explains, “One of the reasons is obviously the weight of the laptop. It’s just over two pounds, which is excellent for our nurses because they also carry other supplies into the homes with them.”

It was directly impacting their nurses’ ability to get their jobs done. Freeman claims that switching to Panasonic Toughbooks was a necessity.

It is very important that they have a laptop that can withstand that,” says Watts. “More importantly, it has actually enhanced the delivery of the care because our nurses have current information accessible immediately versus having to reference paper charts.
