I’ve gone mad for AMC’s hit TV show Mad Men. Of course, I love the 60′s vibe. I adore the spot-on clothes – right down to the ladies’ undergarments. I dig the sexist man-dialog, which often makes me laugh out loud at how out-dated it is nearly 50 years later. I love the slow and steady pace of the plots. I love the attention to detail – check out what’s on Don Draper’s desk. I love how the show looks back at the events of the day with a cheeky take and the benefit of already knowing the outcome.

It’s not just the summer heat wave. There’s lots of debate and discussion where people are fired up about the possible formation of an industry trade association.

I recommend you check out the threads about the topics on the online forums – ABestWeb is a great one. There are many different opinions on the topic. I like that people in the online community are smart, vocal, passionate and opinionated.

Gary Vaynerchuk is just a bundle of warm fuzzies wrapped in ball of sunshine topped with a heaping helping of positive energy. I have no idea how he stays so upbeat but I’m trying to take a cue from him. I think we all could benefit from his outlook.

Today is a day of jokes, pranks, scams and other hijinx. I’m not going o attempt to pull the wool over your eyes. You’re too smart and I’m just not feeling that clever this morning.
